What can I learn with Almanach?

Almanach starts with languages as the foundation of our platform. Almanach's language learning program also includes general knowledge about various topics, with plans to expand to specialized products for conveying scientific knowledge in the future.

How is Almanach's language learning different from other methods and apps?

Almanach offers dynamic language learning that adapts precisely to your progress, ensuring a seamless learning experience without gaps. Our approach, based on extensive live testing, incorporates techniques to simulate a native speaker's learning experience, including indirect learning to build intuition. Our method provides a comprehensive and immersive language learning experience that goes far beyond available language learning solutions.

How much will it cost?

At Almanach, we are committed to providing fair subscription terms to our users. We won't tie you into long-term contracts for loyalty discounts or automatically transition you into a yearly subscription after a free trial. At €4.99 per month, our subscription is even cheaper than our competitors' annual plans. You will be able to cancel your subscription every month.

Can I test Almanach?

We will invite the recipients of our newsletter to the beta-testing before the launch. After the launch, you will be able to use an extensive demo of Almanach with all features for free, for as long as you like.

Is Almanach suitable for both beginners and advanced learners?

It is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners. Each language will have A1 and A2 contents at the beginning, followed by updates for more advanced learners. Our first release in autumn 2023 will target beginner learners of the German language. However, we plan to offer our grading test for advanced learners shortly after the release, which will also accompany the release of all future language products.

Can Almanach be used in conjunction with traditional language classes or tutoring?

Absolutely! Almanach is designed to comply with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), making it also a great supplement to traditional language classes or tutoring. By using Almanach, you can improve your vocabulary and grammar skills at a faster pace, thereby freeing up more time in your course for practicing your target language.

Does Almanach offer personalized learning plans or customized study paths?

Personalized learning plans and customized study paths are at the core of Almanach's features. Our AI-powered system observes your progress and adapts to your individual learning style, and you can also actively specify your interests within the program.

Will Almanach offer certifications or accreditation for language proficiency?

Yes, Almanach will offer certifications of language proficiency based on the user's performance within the app. These certificates will be automatically generated and reflect the learner's current status, with wider acceptance over time as the reputation of Almanach grows.

How often will Almanach be updated with new content or features?

Almanach is a long-term project committed to providing the most complete solution for language learning. We will continuously update the platform with new content and features over the coming decades to offer unparalleled depth and breadth of language learning material.

How long will it take to learn a language with Almanach?

Our app has been extensively tested in intensive language classes, and the results show that it offers a highly efficient and effective solution. An Almanach A1 class can cover all traditional class topics in half the time and even advance to the next level. However, learning a language requires consistent practice and effort, and progress depends on individual dedication.

From 16-year-old learners to 65-year-old learners, our language learning solution has been tested across a wide range of ages. While we are confident that our program can be used by younger learners, we will continue to update our findings as we test with younger age groups.
