I find the app quite good. It has a very good grammatical basis for those who are learning the language and want to speak it correctly. It's very understandable and applies the method of different colors for the different grammatical cases in German, which was very positive in my case.

I wanted to tell you that we had so much fun over the past 4 months and were very sad today that this time is now over - at least for part of it. I never want to teach with anything else but Almanach again. I am currently learning Spanish with Duolingo and I would be eternally grateful for a program like Almanach.

I’ve been taking the A1 "Abendkurse" with Miri using the Almanach material, and it’s been a really positive experience for me. After trying another school where we used standard textbooks, I can really see the difference with Almanach. The way it uses spaced repetition actually makes the lessons stick, and it’s a lot more engaging than just following a textbook. The 3-hour "Abendkurse" can be a bit intense, but honestly, I’ve learned so much in just 2 months. Miri is a fantastic teacher—several people in my class who’ve done A1.1 before say she’s the best they’ve had, and I totally get why. Of course, everyone’s experience might be different depending on the teacher and materials, but I’m really glad I found this course. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re serious about learning.

First of all, thank you for your fantastic slides and your outstanding course. You want to know how I measure the success of our participants. Well, let me talk about Gloria, a participant in the A1.1 course, 50 years old, with German as her first foreign language. She has no knowledge of English and is inexperienced with technology and Zoom meetings. Yet she is extremely successful! Compared to other course participants, her progress may be slower, but she is making enormous steps forward. We can converse, and she uses grammar extremely skillfully. She really started from scratch, and I did not spare her. For me, she is a phenomenon. Your almanac allows her to find security and orientation as she progresses step by step.

The students learn SO MUCH better with your program! I’m honestly amazed every time at how well even the weaker students make progress. Some have told me they took other courses before, where they learned with a traditional textbook — and now, with this, they finally understand it. Everything’s great!

It is very modern and includes what a person really needs to use the language. The structure of the lessons is very good - you don't get bored during the lesson and there is a lot of practice. At the same time I like that English is hardly used at all.

The thing I appreciated the most is that the course is well structured. The slides are easy to understand. The teacher is precise, helpful and engages everyone.  I like your course because you make us speak a lot and do a lot of exercises. And also, I think there is a good balance between the exercises and the new things that we learn every lesson.
You don't overload us, and that's important in my opinion.

I am still very happy with Almanach! In my current A2.1 course I have three participants who started with A1.1 and I notice a huge difference to the level of the newcomers. These three people have a very good foundation (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation), are able to correct themselves and learn new topics very quickly. So once again, my praise goes to the whole Almanach team!
